Paul [Fenton], thank you...You are as reliable, helpful and friendly as ever. I really hope you outlive us, so that you are always there for advice.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you (Sarah-Louise Green) for a very efficient and diligent service, in circumstances that were not made any easier by the issues with the buyer’s solicitors (such as their lack of coordination and constantly losing correspondence). You showed great tenacity and professionalism, chasing up delays, dealing with the constant enquiries even when they’d already been supplied with the information, and at all times safeguarding our position. I felt we were well looked after, and did not feel the need chase since I always knew you were on top of the situation. Sometimes I noticed you responding to email correspondence outside of your working hours, which was above the call of duty. We’d like to thank you very much for a great service.
Paul Fenton at Cunningtons is the third solicitor I have used for house buying & selling and we have now used him twice! They really do make it so much less stressful which is what you need while you’re packing! The previous companies I have used went quiet for weeks and although you know they probably are doing something…nothing seems to happen until you ring them to chase them! Paul copied me into every letter sent and report recede etc I never had to chase him for anything as we were kept up to date at all times with the progress of our move. We ended up being the hold up when our mortgage company dragged their heels and we still managed to exchange on 23rd December and complete on 9 January with the Christmas period in recommend them enough! I shudder when I think of our previous experiences! Don’t go anywhere else!
I just wanted to say a big thank you for handling the house sale for me. My previous experience of working with solicitors has been a painful one having to chase on a regular basis. The fact that we have only spoken once and only had the odd email exchange is testament to your professionalism. I would have no problem in recommending you or Cunningtons to my friends and work colleagues.
Thanks again for the smoothness in which you handled the whole process.
I would like to say thanks for all your work in getting the 2 flats I purchased through Cunningtons to completion prior to the end of March (after March I would have of course incurred significant costs in the shape of stamp duty on the buy to let purchases). In what was not the most straight forward case and with numerous issues raised by the lender, your prompt response and advice ensured the transactions still went through and I thank you sincerely for your efforts. Particularly with the second purchase being instructed by me with only about 1 month to go before the end of March, it was a very quick turn-around to get that, indeed both, transactions completed in such quick and efficient time.
I have used Cunningtons for almost 15 years, and I would certainly be happy to do so again, including recommending yourself and Cunningtons to friends and family.
Couldn’t fault you at all. Johanna, Jill and Bryony were all very lovely and helpful.
As a firm I was very impressed with the level of support and advice I received during what turned out to be a very stressful and problematic house move.
Friday was a hectic day, so I never had chance to email my total appreciation of how you handled my remortgage.
You were and your colleagues were an absolute pleasure to deal with at this stressful time and the timeframe you did it in was impeccable.
Thank you so much again and I would highly recommend you in the future.
Totally satisfied with this service, Katie and Debra were very informative and kept me updated in every part of my divorce. Fantastic Company to work with.
Our solicitor has been fantastic. Her calm, reassuring style has been a great help in this stressful process and we have felt in safe hands all the way through. Updates were great too, we always knew exactly where we were. Would definitely use Cunningtons again and recommend.
Just a quick note to say thank you both for your professionalism, efficiency and empathy with my recent case. Although I was in the wrong (unaware of the process) I didn’t feel at all judged by you and your advice was always given with my best interests in mind. In the nicest possible way, I do hope not to need your services again! However if ever I need to I know where to come, and I’ll always highly recommend you.
Cunningtons for me are a fantastic company to do business with. During 2014 I have used Cunningtons for 2 very separate legal issues and I can’t praise them enough for how consistently good they are across the board.
Firstly, their conveyancing services really are first class. I had the pleasure of dealing with Paul Fenton for my first house purchase and he made the whole process very simple and straightforward for me.
Secondly a family member had a family issue involving a child, and once again we used Cunningtons to help get the issue sorted – which was done without any hassle or fuss (much to my family member’s surprise)
So when I say they are consistent across the legal matters they handle, I really am talking from first hand experience, added to the fact they have a sales develoment team which Spencer heads up – this really makes Cunningtons stand out in my opinion.
Where possible I recommend them to people I know, and will continue to do so without a doubt!
Kate Hunt of Cunningtons Solicitors helped my partner and I move into our first home. When sourcing quotations, Cunningtons stood out from the rest with their competitive price, along with the wide range of awards that they could boast.
As my partner and I were moving into our first home, everything was new to us. Kate helped explain every process and nothing was too much trouble.
Despite all the efforts of Kate and her team, an individual in the chain was making the whole process very difficult. Kate continued her hard work and we did exchange. I feel that without the hard work of Kate and the team this could have fallen through. This was a rather stressful time but hearing Kate’s friendly voice and reassurance at the end of the phone instantly made us feel we were in more than capable hands.
Kate demonstrated true class and professionalism throughout the whole process but still remained friendly and approachable. The customer service was first class. I could not recommend Kate and Cunningtons highly enough.
Our experience with Cunningtons was outstanding. It was great to be copied into emails as we always felt ‘in the loop’ about progress. Paul Fenton was extremely efficient and responded to us very quickly. He also went the extra mile helping us to chase an issue with the mortgage lender. Our estate agents commented on the speed of response- receiving an acknowledgement 4 minutes after they sent an email! We had a tight timeline due to pressure from the bottom of the chain, which had seemed unrealistic, but with Paul’s help we got there, and are delighted to be in in time for Christmas! Thankyou very much!
The level of service you and Cunningtons staff provided was 5 star and you will be our first point of call as and when needed. I am a firm believer of repeat business and I like to treat others the way I like to be treated, you just made the whole process a whole lot easier. On behalf of all of us we thank you so very much and certainly know where to come next time round without hesitation.
After receiving an independent recommendation from a friend, I chose Cunningtons to deal with some complex employment matters. I am very glad I did, their knowledge and experience is profound. Sean (Kirk) and the team provided great legal advice and intensive support at short notice. They represent great value for money for the high quality of service they can provide.
Kate Hunt, from Cunningtons was amazingly thorough and kept me in the loop the whole time. At no point did i feel a burden for ringing up to find out progress, which put me at ease at what can be a very stressful time.
Everything to do with the purchase of my buy to let was made very easy and [she] liaised with the estate agent, so I did not have to.
I would Highly recommend Cunnington’s to anyone looking for a solicitor.
I will definitely be using Cunningtons again for future purchases
Thank you so so much
Having moved several times I found my solicitor exceptionally helpful and responsive, she went out of her way to assist me.
Just wanted to thank you personally for everything you did to assist me in my recent house move. You did everything you could to help and having moved several times previously I never had a solicitor so helpful – you were brilliant!
Thanks a million to you and your team.
I just wanted to say thanks for the exceptional service that you have given me in dealing with numerous sales and purchases, I can honestly say that the service offered by you was one of the best, if not the best that I have received during my 38 years in any industry, not just legal.
Thank you for the very swift sale/purchase transaction. This helped us secure the house that we really wanted and saved us
from going into storage at extra cost.
Your work was carried out as described and came in at the fee quoted. It was not the most expensive and not the cheapest internet
price, but we wanted someone we could rely on and talk to.
This is the fourth transaction that you have undertaken for me.
Jill Wiggins has been very helpful and is very pleasant in her manner. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend
A highly professional service. Both our Solicitors were very accomodating during both the probate and conveyancing procedures. Efficient, effective and excellent value for money. I have already recommended your services to 2 colleagues if they need such services in the future and will continue to do so.
Bryony’s service was exemplary. Fully informed throughout. Always courteous and clear with all explanations. Her approach was efficient but tempered with an understanding of the emotions that prevailed.
We used Cunningtons to sell a flat in Hove and to buy a house in Suffolk. Neither transaction was straightforward, but they smoothed over all the bumps, leading to a happy resolution for everyone!
Needless to say, we would be happy trust them again whenever we need legal assistance.
We are big fans of Cunningtons. A budget service but with a personal touch. Will definitely recommend based on using Cunningtons 3 times.
Thank you and your firm so much for being every bit as exceptional as we’d hoped when we enlisted your services, it has been a pleasure. We will definitely be recommending your services to others we know, and coming back to you in future should we ever need to for further business.
I have found Cunningtons, and in particular Jason Bradshaw, very helpful and attentive to my needs. I have used the firm twice and would use it again.
At the start of 2012 Knights Developments had 5 conveyancing firms on their panel, this is now down to just two, and Cunningtons stand head and shoulders above the rest due to bloody hard work and great customer service provided by Paul and his team.
Kate Hunt provided an excellent service. Timely, efficient and patient. Clear requests and instructions. Would have no hesitation in recommending her services to others. Nikki also provided a first class service, always helpful and efficient.
I have used Cunningtons three times for conveyancing purposes in recent years, and I have been very pleased with the service on all occasions. On each occasion, I used the services of Jason Bradshaw and his PA, Sue. Each time, I specifically requested to use Jason as I have always found him to be professional and courteous. His PA, Sue, has always been extremely helpful and efficient also.
At times, I have no doubt that I have asked stupid or irrelevant questions, and each time, I have been treated with respect. Responses have always been speedy. On one occasion, I had said that there was no purchase attached to my sale, only to change my mind halfway through when I found the house that I wanted and Jason was able to accommodate my requirements efficiently and courteously.
Moving house is a very traumatic experience, and it certainly makes things much easier when you can have trust in the professional who is working on your behalf, and not have to worry about phoning with possibly trivial worries or concerns.
The fee charged is certainly very competitive and overall, I have been extremely pleased with the service.
We have been extremely pleased with the professional and friendly service we have received from Cunningtons during the purchase of our property. Our solicitor dealt with everything immediately and even chased up the vendors solicitors when they were causing delays. They kept us fully updated and informed throughout the whole process and I would highly recommend them to anybody.
